Wow, you burnt through quite a few Stars there, FPS! Art Academy is terrific - albeit it's a slight frustration that no update has yet been made and you can only save a dozen pictures at any one time. It only needs a few adjustments for it be fantastic.

Woah, thanks for the reminder! :) I dug my box out and found I could register it, plus some a couple of downloads I hadn't registered. I've gone from 350 to 1900 stars - and I've spotted that Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga is 1800. I haven't played it for years, and I remember it being great...but I could get a few 'cheaper' ones I guess.

Decisions....

EDIT: M&L it is! Downloaded.

NES Remix is a fun little game isn't it? Thanks Nintendo.

I'm 150 stars short of M&L: Superstar Saga :(

Although I could get the Pikmin movies instead

That Chibi-Robo price :dread:

Still, even though the value hasn't necessarily been great, I've got some lovely stuff from Club Nintendo in the past. The Luigi Diorama, Pikmin Keyrings and Yoshi Egg bag in particular are lovely.

Don't forget the 50 stars each that you can get from downloading some free software - I got 50 from downloading Tank!Tank!Tank on Wii U, and there are others available,
e.g.
Dark Dragon 64 wrote:Some free to play games, like Zen Pinball on Wii U and Ironfall on 3DS, give you 50 stars if you download them and fill out the survey in your Club Nintendo account.

Maybe you can scrape 150 points together...

Ooh thanks, that looks like it could be enough.

Been really enjoying Link's Awakening this time through! It's not as hard as I remember it. (I've used a guide to solve some of the more obtuse "kill the enemies in exactly this order" and "dig on exactly this tile" puzzles though which may explain why I'm less frustrated at it than I was a decade ago!) The colour dungeon is a nice touch (I never had the DX version before).

Pokemon shuffle is another 50.

If you log into club nintendo, and look at 'my account', you can choose 'see all my registered games and systems' - then you can see any downloads that you haven't done the survey for.

It truly is. That tune that plays whenever someone is about to game point

My only issue with the GBC Mario Tennis - which was a fantastic game - was the totally screwy levelling-up system. If you tried to raise stats in one area, the game would lower stats in another to compensate, meaning you can never actually improve your character's all-round ability.

Long shot, but does anyone have any surplus stars? I have a second Captain Toad code if anyone wants to do a swap?

You can't register the same game twice.

Majora's Mask Light (6000 stars)
The time has come…
With glowing eyes, this spooky Majora’s Mask emits a soft, orange glow when you flick the switch. Measures approximately 12cm tall x 12cm wide, made of ABS, transparent ABS and PVC.

I find the lack of an image of it in the dark disturbing.

All my stars have gone.

Anyone fancy swapping this for my Link Between Worlds Soundtrack (Still sealed)?

I knew I should have waited a while to cash out my stars! I got a stupid Mario hat for 6,000 two months ago. With all these retro games also appearing, I bet Super Mario World will turn up too!

I cashed all mine in on the Kirby Triple Deluxe cd (which is decent but not amazing) and Wii VC points.

I wanted that ALBW soundtrack.

strawberry floating expiring codes. I found 4 more - 2 from 3DS games and expired in September last year years after I bought them. For strawberry float's sake! Going to download a few freebies as I guess my copy of Resi Revelations is newer stock that's still in date, and I forgot to register ZombiU. Might be able to grab something before this ends.

I had 1750 points in the end, definitely exhausted all my points cards. Went for Links Awakening DX. My gf has an original copy and I still have all my GameBoys but.. I just reckon I'm more likely to actually play it lounging around, on the move, and on a lovely bright screen on current hardware. The "hidden" Start+Select virtual GBC frame is lovely! I really don't like the stretched picture. It's normally 5.70 or so, more than Zelda 1 (which I was gonna try on Wii U), that I can just pick up when I fancy as it's so cheap anyway. I wouldn't have minded playing Superstar Saga but paying but was short of just 50 points :x abd for portable games to play on a TV seems weird when I have plenty of GBA games to revisit with the GC GameBoy Player anyway, if I want to do that. It's a great little port (Zelda DX) so hopefully I'll play my way through this time... I very vaguely remember completing it but I think I just watched the end or something. If anyone else is struggling to pick I think it's a good choice! Nintendolife still give it 10/10 it really is one of the best ever Zelda games.

People on NeoGaf are reporting that some expired Club Nintendo codes are working again. So far it looks like Monster Hunter 4, Majora's Mask and Captain Toad work again but codes for Fantasy Life, Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2 and Pokémon OR/AS still don't.

I remember throwing out two that didn't work but I only remembered the name of one of them, Captain Toad. Thanks to autocomplete, I managed to re-enter the code and it worked! I tried every letter of the alphabet and each code that popped up. Some had been used and others had still expired but at least I managed to redeem the code for Toad.

It's worth trying codes again if you were told that they had expired.
