Club Nintendo Rewards - Goodbye Coin Now Available

Nintendo has sent out a newsletter that has some cool future rewards. I'm definitely going after the Captain Toad Figurine Lamp and, if I have enough starts, the Luigi Diorama.

...now that's a lot of cool stuff! I've hardly got any Stars left, though :-(.

I hope that Nintendo's new membership scheme launches soon; I think one of the reasons I've cut back on Wii U and 3DS digital purchases is because you don't currently get Stars or discount codes.

The Mario Kart trophies are cool, but I imagine the cost is huge and i'd rather have some games instead.

Nice I was about to pick up some eShop stuff with those points but ill hold out for some Toad lamp goodness now.

Whenever Nintendo releases any news about Club Nintendo, their Stars Catalogue website goes into meltdown :fp:

Yeah I just noticed that, totally unresponsive right now. Oh well, Ill check it out later I guess.

Already have the mushroom cup and would love to get another but I don't think I've saved enough stars. Could probably have got one had I not got NES Remix.

I'd have been all over those coasters, but I spent all my stars on digital games.

Wouldn't mind the coasters to brighten up my collection of stuff mostly nicked from pubs. The trophies just look like metallic plastic though with that thin ink stuff that doesn't terminate nicely. Like cheap Christmas decorations.

The 'Goodbye coin' also sounds like an interesting piece for Nintendo fans.

This. I used all my stars on the Super Mario 3D World soundtrack, which is great, and then immediately realised they were going to release the MK8 soundtrack, which is superb. Damn my impatience.

I *think* they were 4,000 stars each. I had enough at the time, but I chose other stuff instead.

Cool! It's tough guessing prices as they can be all over the place.
I'd guess at:

Toad: 5000
Coasters: 2000
Trophies: 4000 (if you're right)
Luigi's Mansion: 7000 (that's how much it was previously when I bought it)

I have 6500 Stars at the moment, hopefully enough to get a trophy or Toad and the coasters.
