Really liking it so far, it's bold and confident.

Now watching Taken 2.

This is the most ridiculous thing ever.

The slow mo 3D scenes were really annoying so I'm glad they stopped after a while. Saying that though however, the use of the slow mo in the room breach was absolutely brilliant. It looked just like a comic book flicking across individual frames. It's just a shame the over use beforehand soiled the impact a little.

Definitely watching the film again tomorrow 'cause it's just so good.

The soundtrack is amazing.

I'll go halves on it with you. I can keep it at my house and you can borrow it when I allow it.

They are tiny cells in a prison block, you only ever leave when your sentence is complete or you're dead.

Just finished watching it for the 3rd time now. Tried it in 3D but the 3D was so bad I switched to 2D when Dredd meets Anderson.

Just finished watching this. Never read the comics, didn't see the Stallone film.

For what it is, and what it's trying to do, it's excellent. 8/10

Really?

Its one of the few films in 3D I've actually enjoyed, I thought it was really good the 3D effect.

Watched it last night and didn't really like it, no decent characterisation. Just words on a page spoken by people in daft costumes, nothing to really make them interesting.
The Blu-ray was mostly grainy as hell which added to the whole 'made for tv' feeling it all seemed to smell of.

Finally watched it and disappointed. Not the budget Dredd deserved. Story was okay (probably would have been handled as 1 or 2 weeks in 2000AD) and it was quite authentic. Can't see a sequel being made. Dredd fans simply won't get the film Dredd deserves. :(

No way Cosmo, there were definitely points where the blu ray looked gooseberry fool. There is a point where Mama's main henchman dude is following her down a corridor and it looks like a badly compressed YouTube video.
