So good, best comic book to movie last year imo, Dredd

I hope so so much they get a sequel

Anyone who didn't like this film, who watched it and it made so little impression on them that no strong opinion of it was formed either way, but then sampled other reactions and got the sense that they personally gave birth to the film and love it more than life itself.

strawberry float. That Japanese trailer is amazing. Our trailer did nothing for me, I only wanted to buy the film 'cause of all your comments. The Jap trailer makes me NEED IT NOW!

I really dig the score for this film. Got a proper post rock feel.

Will the Shlomo bits anyway. The techno music I can happily leave.

I highly recommend people check out Drokk: Music inspired by Mega-City One if you like Dredd. It was supposed to be the soundtrack for this but was unused for some weird reason. Done by Geoff Barrow (of Portishead )

Some proper electronic 80's John Carpenter sounding gooseberry fool.

That's absolutely brilliant!

Cheers for the link

Just watched it for a second time, this time in 3D as the good Judge intended.

The effects are just quality and the film seemed even darker and mature than the first time I saw it. I love this film :datass:

I've seen this twice, and The Raid twice. I still can't decide which is better before but I think Dredd just edges above the Raid. Anyway both are two are on must watch films of 2012.

And for your information, I have not read a single Judge Dredd comic.

The Raid killed Dredd in the U.S.

They all just thought it was a copy of the Raid, even though it was done first but released later.

Its sad, because as much as I liked the Raid, its not as good, infact its a bit boring in places, where as Dredd is just awesome sause from start to end.

Wish I'd bought this when it was £11. It's a whole £2 more expensive now. :(

Everyone needs to buy this, to boost chances of a sequel. It really doesn't deserve to die, it makes me angry when you look at all the crap they keep commissioning, epic movies, date movie, meet the Spartans etc.

Endless sequels to Medicare crap. Trouble is 18/R rated films always struggle at box office in an age where EVERYTHING else is 12A :fp:

If there's a sequel, please bring in Judge Death to some capacity!

Oh and next time, cut out the 3D crap......

Alex Garland said his original script had Judge Death but read like a sequel.

He's since said he planned out a trilogy, with Death appearing in the third part.
