Driving Force GT Wheel on the PC.... questions....

Hello,

anyone got one of these Logitech Driving Force GT Wheels ?

Have you managed to get it working on the PC? I have installed the drivers and programs from logitech's website but hell if I know how to configure it properly within any game?

any tips?

So long as everything has installed correctly (i.e. when you plug the wheel in it does its usual spinning around by itself for a bit).

Depends on the controller options on the game. For example in GTR Evolution the driving force gt wheel did not exist as an option. So I selected another logitech driving wheel that was on there, created a new controller profile and mapped any buttons that needed to be, the left right, accelerator, break where already setup I just had to map camera toggle etc.

Its a pain like as there are about 50 different input options on this particular game which I can't be bothered learning (pit lane speed, wipers, lights) so I just map what I need and keep keyboard and mouse handy.

Once you have the controller profile saved it works automatically.

Its not like PS3 where you plug it in and it just works straight away...

Cool that what I thought. I'll persevere with teh setting up procedure.....
