I really liked Moon and this set in the same universe (2nd film of a trilogy) so definitely will be watching it on release weekend.

Had no idea this was a thing. Thanks Floex  Expecting good things. Have they updated Moon yet to take Spacey out? :shifty:

Indirect sequel apparently. It was meant to be his second movie but he made Source Code instead, for better or worse.

Definitely something to look forward to though.

Fingers crossed it lives up to our expectations, Moon was excellent.

Isn't there a Netflix thread? :shifty:

What's this about, then? There's not a lot to go on in that link, and I don't think I've ever heard of Moon before, either.

What’s with people wanting to put things all the same thread? :|

Pretty excited for this, didn't realise it was out so soon. Though I would like to see it in a cinema.

And yeah, if you've not seen Moon then correct that mistake immediately.

Edit: Mute music by Clint Mansell. :datass:

Synopsis:-

Set in the near-future, Leo (Alexander Skarsgård) is a bartender living in the pulsing city of Berlin. Because of a childhood accident, Leo lost the ability to speak and the only good thing in his life is his beautiful girlfriend Naadirah (Seyneb Saleh). When she vanishes without a trace, Leo’s search for her takes him deep into the city’s seedy underbelly. A pair of wise-cracking American surgeons (Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux) are the only recurring clue and Leo is forced to take on this teeming underworld in order to find his love.

If this is coming in 4k then I might be tempted to upgrade my Netflix sub.

I saw Source Code just the other week, I enjoyed it

It's the only film of his I've seen, but as a Sci-fi fan I reckon I should go watch Moon, judging by this thread.

(Also I got the name confused and thought this was the guy off Dragon's Den  )

I enjoyed Source Code, but Moon is a much better film, definitely worth watching.

I never bothered with Warcraft so have no idea if that is decent.

Poor bloke changes his name so he is not so associated with his megastar father and then people just think he is the guy from Dragon's Den.

He's actually been Duncan Jones since birth.

So this is out today, and The Guardian has ripped it a new one in its review - a 1/5.

Another little alarm bell as seemingly another Netflix original ends up being a bit gooseberry fool. Ah well, I guess not everything they do has to be good.
