I've just unlocked the night so I'm not particularly far. I don't think the fighting mechanics suit the night enemies, it's too slow. For now, anyway.

even when you're powered up buff, in groups you've got no chance.

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

I've finished main story now, fully leveled in combat and an ace fire/electricity sword. Night still gets me though. I can fight volatiles, but you get over whelmed too quickly to stand a chance against any more than 1 or 2!

Basically your only a badass in the daytime!

As for the ending
stupid ending section, precise parkour whilst being chased and having to time jumps perfectly, with awful check pointing. :| must have repeated that tunnel run a dozen times till I finally did it. And what's my reward? A QTE boss fight...

Getting the 'Kick 100 Zombies off of buildings or cliffs' Trophy was a breeze yesterday. A couple of slides+kicks on the bridge and it was raining Zeds. They were flying everywhere!

I'll miss my super punch/kick when I next boot it up.

Apparently I'm 12% into the story but the whole thing gets a bit boring after a couple of hours, I think, the endless hack and slash. Maybe best to play it in short bursts.

The story is garbage. Ask its good for is unlocking side missions, which are what got me hooked.

The side missions are excellent, yeah. I've been doing this early 'Pact with Rais' story mission which has just been going on...and on...and on. Jesus Christ.

Rais is the worst written character in anything I can think of for a very long time. All and any interaction with him is infuriating.

And just wait till you get to the OH GOD PLEASE NOT NOW bits. Atrocious.

Only played a few hours more of this but i'm loving it so far, found a pharmacy that was a looting jackpot so i have a load of cash now. Also did the Gazi mission which was a little bonkers.

For as short as they are (one is quite long), they're as infuriating as AC pulling you out of the past and putting you back in the modern world.

I completed the story in within a few days which was disappointing but I must say it's a brilliant game! I love four player co op and just heading to the bridge to crack some Zombie skulls with the baseball bat. All the easter eggs and little secrets are really good as well! Managed to get me a Dark Machete but I still get scared out at night, strawberry float you volatiles!

I think I have about 78% of the side missions completed now as well and I'm almost max rank on everything. Willing to join and give some people a hand as long as they've finished The Pit mission. Can't bare to have my weapons taken away from me again!

Xbox One that is :shifty:

that looks pretty bonkers. I need to get back to dying light actually and get it completed . I got sidetracked by lots of Destiny and Fifa.

They should make it standalone DLC.

I reckon I might pick this up when the DLC hits. Are the vehicles going to be available to use in the regular game too?

Well obviously, they'd be equipped with downward facing jets to help you boost on to roofs  They could also rip off that buggy feature from Crackdown, the one which allowed it to drive up buildings.

So not only are Techland releasing The Following DLC/expansion on Feb 6, but they're also enhancing the original game by improving the engine, and introducing new gameplay features. Unfortunately, the enhanced edition isn't free if all you have is the original base game. Enhancements will be made available to everyone who owns the base game. (See tweet from DL, on next page.)

Enhance!

Legend System

Improved Human Enemy AI
Improved Volatile AI
Greater Firearm Variety
