I still haven't really done much co-op with anyone, and when I did it was hilarious, hint hint nudge nudge

I'd give it a high score too.

I did rush through it once in the second area as strawberry floating about for too long in such games always leads to losing the will to carry on playing. I did do all the weapon challenges for the old dude, though. Those were great.

Sounds good but will likely have to be next week.

All the side stuff is good but the main story missions feel too scripted and I find them boring and frustrating. I hate it when the game takes control away from me or forces me to do things its way. Don't give me all these options of how to deal with things and then take them away from me for the main missions. The writing in these bits is appalling as well. They keep trying to shove down my throat how much I care about Rahim and Jade. I hate them both and hope they both die.

I haven't done the mission where you have to get bulbs from the bridge at night. Really looking forward to that one.

Bought this today. Really enjoying the world and exploring but combat is a bit crappy (I hit zombie in head with blade 3 times and it still gets up!?) had my first night run, proper tense just running without daring to check behind! Heart was racing when I reached safe zone.

However just started a mission to climb a tower, god this is fiddly. 1st person just doesn't work for fine platforming. Took so long it became night, then realised I hadn't turned power on at base...

Combat gets better as you level up. It's tough going for the first few hours.

The starter weapons are crap. The game is balanced so you basically have to use the parkour for a sizeable chunk of the game because taking on zombies just isn't practical.

Just picked this up in Sainsburys. You can double up your Nectar points so this cost me just £2.99 + £20 of my Nectar points. Won't be playing it for about 6 weeks though I suspect.

Yes?

Is there a real world scenario in which taking on a city full of zombies is practical?

There is no real world scenario involving zombies, Captain Autismo.

Of course not, it's physically impossible to have a cadaver undergoing rigor mortis reanimate and be hungry.

However, taking on a city's worth of shambling bitey clawy people is a potential real world scenario, of sorts anyway. Not especially likely, but possible.

A mission wants me to get a sample from a bolter at night.... Do I have to go out at night?! I'm just getting to grips with daytime, don't feel ready to brave the night.

Night time really isn't as difficult as I thought it was going to be.

For that one, just find a place where the Bolter's near a safe house, wait until night at the safe house then sneak out. One hit from behind should kill a Bolter (you have to sneak up or they'll leg it). As soon as it's dead, if you get spotted, just chuck out a flare and then you have a brief reprise to plot your course out of there.

I'll be on this evening if anyone wants to do some co op.

+1 for what Bizzle wrote about safehouse. There is one in particular which is *very* close to a feeding ground, and is very easy to get back to get back to once you have the sample.

Brave of the dev to have included them. A shame then that the smothering animation feels off.

I used one of the petrol station ones and I could see the Bolter from the safe house. Just jumped out, smashed him one and jumped back in.

I think it's just that it's so dark. :dread:

I've just done a main mission that had loads of the mutated strawberry floaters chasing you? Jesus Christ it's tense. I tried fighting them..but more than one and you've had it. :x

Trying to do as many of the side missions as I can as I'm on the last but one mission now. Really really enjoyed it.
