We should all just keep this as the only thread in the folder to show how utterly pointless it is segregating E3 chat.

I can see Gearbox demoing Aliens:CM at the Ninty showcase and then drop the bomb that it will be a timed exclusive for WiiU and will be out on launch :datass:

I hope not, Xbox and Playstation fanboys will then blame the Wii U for the Aliens:CM shite looking graphics.

Hopefully the Microsoft conference doesn't start late/over-run, as I don't want to miss the Jubilee Concert at 7:30.

Uh... so I guess I am in charge of this now :shifty: I believe the mods need to now promote me to the rank of 'Peter Crisp' with all the pay and benefits that entails.

E3 2012: Heavy Rain studio poised to reveal new game at Sony conference
PlayStation hopes to steal the show with Cage appearance; Quantic Dream working on two new titles

The studio that built PS3 classic Heavy Rain is just days away from revealing its new project, CVG understands.

Quantic Dream founder David Cage Quantic Dream founder David Cage David Cage, founder of Quantic Dream, will take centre stage at Sony's E3 press conference next Monday to offer a glimpse into his next major title.

A trusted senior development source has also told CVG that the Paris studio is currently working on two separate mystery projects, each for Sony, though it is unclear if both are being targeted for a PS3 release.

Cage himself recently suggested he would be happy to develop on PlayStation 3 for the next five years. But the reveal of Cage's first project is expected to be a major draw for Sony at E3, as the electronics giant prepares to parade a catalogue of exclusive games for both Vita and PS3.

A Sony spokesperson declined to comment.

In March, Cage laid bare the new technology that will provide the backdrop to his next game. A seven-minute video demo, called Kara, portrayed the construction of a female android who inadvertently becomes aware of herself when given a name.

Every year E3 gets less and less exciting, I suppose my lack of gaming taste has something to do with that.

Still, as every year I will (or try to) watch Nintendo's e3 conference live, it's the only conference I can get mildly excited about.

Last year the real fun was watching the reaction of people on here as they all realised what a pile of shite most of the shows were. Some people really go over the top and it makes even a dull conference worth sitting through.

The pages and pages of people asking for a working feed and going bonkers if they can't get one is also a Brucey bonus.

I have no doubt that Sonys and Microsofts conferences will suck a large one

EA, Ubi and Nintendo are where it's at for excitement

I think Konami (what ever they have planed, 2010, never forget) are going to have a good showing for once. ZOE annoucement, new Castlevanias, Revengence, dare I say they might have some of the games of the whole show

Two Castlevanias, ZOE and possibly TWO Metal Gears, yep they are going to have an amazing show.

Also there is a rumour of a new Contra for 3DS.

Might be worth putting in the OP details of live streaming sites with E3 coverage. Spike/Gametrailers etc.

To be honest the days of that happening are slowly disappearing. The big news sites know the demand for the live streams and they all seem to up their bandwith capacity to compensate now.

I watched near enough all of E3 last year live on Gametrailers and I don't remember having a single issue with the stream at all. Even the video quality remained consistently excellent. :D

Here's hoping it's as simple this year.

It sounds like it might be 2010 all over again. All their big games getting shown during the main conferences and the Konami conference just replays the trailers, while getting upstaged by Kojima's drunken live video feed from London. :slol:

The only conference I'll miss is the Microsoft one, but other than Halo 4 they don't have anything that interests me at all.

Yeah I think it was at a silly time last year as well, but the year before it was in the evening for us.

I'm still annoyed it's over the bank holiday weekend. Typically I'll be doing family things.
