It was good when he took the piss out of the endless coke advertising.

Shame he got interrupted and stumbled from character for a bit, but it was pretty funny.

Remember how gutted we were when the Wii U was announced?!

Page after page of, "wait, this is IT? :| "

Very much so, I dont think many people really got it. And that's why I want to see Nintendo really push it and show the potential they think it has a lot better this year.

I really got the controller, they just presented it in a way that made it look like it was an add-on for the existing Wii.

We've already seen 3 of those games and 'premiere' indicates they're unannounced titles.

The EA Sports titles are most likely going to be annual updates, though I'd love to see Fight Night for Kinect/Move.

Premiere to to me could include a new game but also never seen before demo or trailer of a announced game.

Good stuff whatever happens either way.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012/05/ ... onference/

First, I’m uber-hyped to share details about our ambitious livestreaming plan. Once again, we’ll be streaming E3 to you live, worldwide, over four jam-packed days. The live E3 broadcast begins this Monday, June 4th at 5:30pm Pacific/8:30pm Eastern with the PlayStation E3 2012 Press Conference, the most exciting (and most Tweeted-about) event on the PlayStation calendar. We’ll then continue the live broadcast through the rest of the week with live gameplay demos for hot upcoming PS3 and PS Vita games — 25 to 30 new game demos in all. We’ll even be snagging your questions from Twitter and posing them to the developers. Make ‘em count!

You’ll find the livestream here on PlayStation.Blog, as well as PlayStation Home, PlayStation.com, Facebook, Google Plus, and Ustream. And, for the first time, you’ll be able to watch E3 live directly on your PS3 — a handy icon will be located under the What’s New section on your XMB. PS Vita’s even getting in on the E3 action, with the new Nico Nico video app supporting a beta feed of our E3 livestream. Technology!

SORTED!

I think we all got it, it was more of us hoping for a proper break away from the Wii.

Why? The Wii owns.

The Wii is also a brandname as much as the DS was and the Gameboy was.

The only problem Nintendo had with the 3DS was a weak launch lineup, high cost and also they marketed it too similar to the DS. It's picked up so much more since they changed their marketing.

Why is this folder so dead with just 5 days to go to E3? Are we not moving all the relevant threads over from GGC?

Even after the Bird and Zelda bits? I didnt think the presention was brilliant but I was more confused by peoples reactions then I was by the actual conference.

Sounds like it will just be a load of multi-platform games at the MS conference then. :|

Multiplat games with maybe some impractical Kinect features tackled on. And perhaps some 6 months exclusive DLC.

Because it shouldn't even exist.

Are people just less excited this time around or are there less regulars about?

I think the major problem is previous years poor E3 showings and early announcements pre E3 that have taken away the excitement.
