I'm booking the 2026 topic now.

What wonders can we expect?

This years could be a bit of an epic with all 3 big hitters with lots of lovely new content and maybe even new hardware so I suspect quite a few here will be watching and not having to worry about work is a bonus.

Well, I'd rather watch this than the Jubilee.

Pippa might be at the Jubilee celebrations though.

I'm hoping the Queen abdicates just after and we get another day off next year for the coronation and then Charles is King for a day and then abdicates and we get a day off the year after for the coronation of William.
That would bumpstart the economy.

I'm sure there will be monsters of all shapes and sizes in attendance.

As for E3 - I'd like the Wii-U's specs nailed down - hopefully it'll be something in the (admittedly meaningless) region of 360+20%. Then let's have enhanced versions of Skyrim and GTAV announced for it.

That'd make Christmas 2012 a rather appealing prospect for me although I'm getting a Wii-U anyway.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

I don't want ownership of the topic as it will require a lot more effort than I'm willing to put in.

Yep, everything is looking good for Holland this year if they can just work out that turning into hard men with super short fuses in the final doesn't help. I put money on them to win the world cup and they failed so they better not make that mistake again :x .

I think we should give him the Jubilee thread, too. After all, Peter's love of all things British is well-known.

Let's just put Pete in charge of June and all that it may entail.

My third child should be born around the 18th which means I could miss some of the footy (Ireland play Italy on the 18th for example). So maybe Pete could stand in for me there. All he'd have to do is say encouraging stuff like "come on love!" and "it's only pain, which is a transient thing".

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

I'll definitely be making sure I'm free for the conferences as usual :)

Looking forward to some big announcements (hopefully).

I wonder how many sites will be boycotting it this year, assuming the ESA don't drop their support of the legislation.

As if all these sites will be able to resist the lure of new Nintendo hardware.
