But how relevant are those games?

Its hard to make a judgement when you haven't seen them.

I'm making a judgement based on their track record of providing decent exclusives.

We have only seen CGI trailers for a lot of Xbox One games, can't really judge on that.

I'm sorry but of the 15 exclusive (17 if you count console exclusive) titles they showed...guess how many were CGI?

Yes that's right, exactly 3.

Now I don't know what your definition of 'a lot of Xbox One games' is. But that isn't my definition of it.

Why is this being talked about in this thread? Hugo what's your problem with Sony? All I see around the forum is you bleating on about how they're still up to no good.

7 PS4 exclusives.

20 first party exclusives in the first year. 12 new IPS among them :datass:

Someone else asked why you'd pick the Xbox One over the PS4.

I don't have a problem with Sony, I do have a problem with giving them a free ride while taking every opportunity to kick Microsoft.

If Sony had showed masses of great looking games and announced a DRM policy while MS had shown basically nothing new and just said they weren't doing DRM themselves (while making it sound like that applied to every game on their system, when it really didn't) then I'd be sticking up for Sony and doubting what MS said.

I'm actually rather suspicious of that number now, if they have all these games then why didn't they show more of them?

Does that 20 number include the 9 Indie games they showcased?

Either way, till they show the games they can give all the numbers they want, it makes no difference. Show me the games, then I'll be interested.

Like I said I'm suspicious of it because they didn't show anything about those games.

Not even game names or studio details. Absolutely nothing.

At launch I'll probably pick up Driveclub (the none gimped version) and Killzone Shadowfall.

inFamous isn't a launch game right?

Every time I pop into this thread Hugo is there saying how the PS4 has no games. We get it Hugo, there's more games for you on Xbone.

Here's five that we know about from the biggest studios at Sony:
- Uncharted 3 team at Naughty Dog have been working on something for nearly 2 years.
- Sony Santa Monica have a new IP which has not been shown yet.
- Guerilla Games have been working on a new IP in addition to Killzone.
- Media Molecule have yet to show their PS4 game, just a tech demo of sculpting.
- Quantic Dream have a PS4 game in development in addition to Beyond on PS3. They've only shown a tech demo so far.

Then you can probably add a couple more from studios like London, Sand Diago and Bend, who we don't know what they are working on but it's likely to be PS4 games.

It also wouldn't be a surprise if The Last Guardian had moved to PS4 and might explain the long delay.
Agent still exists, so there's another game.

That's ten, add it to the ones already announced, chuck in a couple of surprises and we're basically at 20.

Agent isn't 1st Party so that doesn't count.

I'm not saying none of these games are going to be interesting at all, I'm just wondering, if they are less than 18 months from completion (in the first year of release)...then why didn't they show more of them?

I'm disappointed that I haven't seen more interesting PS4 games and how they will play. Is that hard to understand?

MS is focusing almost purely on the US and the UK with their console (it won't even work in half of the world) and so they've chucked everything at E3 which is located in their target market.

Sony has a worldwide audience, and so other conferences such as TGS and Gamescom are also very important. I can see why they would save some big announcements for then as it would give another jolt of momentum going into the launch window.

I can understand why you'd want more new exclusives revealed at E3, but they showed games at the Feb conference while MS only talked about TV in their reveal conference.

We know they have plenty more coming.

And I caved. Pre-ordered.

I swore that buying on launch was stupid before but that price is just too good and Sony have done everything right in regards to the console. It's actually insane value for money when you look at the kind of hardware this thing will be using. Sony most be losing a fortune on ever one that they sell.

Tell me about it. It would be rude not to get a PS4 on launch with a few games and an extra controller. Cannot wait to set that beauty up near the tv - so sleek!
