E3 2014 - What are your plans/rituals?

I've booked the 9-11th June off work so I can enjoy the E3 goodness, for the press conferences, me and a few people usually get together to watch them and nerd out together :mrgreen:

Anyone else got any specific plans for it this year? Have any rituals?

It's the World Cup, I've got three weeks off. I may watch some of the shows.

Watch all three major conferences, getting alternately excited at each one.

I will be taking those days off. And getting disappointed whenever it's all over.

Couldn't get the week off as I wanted.

However, I'll make sure I'm on an early shift Monday so I'm home for 5pm and I'm off Tuesdays so I can stay up and watch all the conferences as well.

Usual ritual involves getting in some pizza and some beer and just chilling on the sofa while tweeting/posting about how awesome/stupid/hilarious the whole thing is.

I might get a mate or two round this year.

I remember being able to watch the late night sony one last year, so I must have booked time off for it or it was a coincidence. Don't think I'll bother this year though. The only one that is late at night usually is sony, is that happening again this year? Microsoft's is usually around 6pm isn't it?

Sony's conference ain't gona be the same without Nervous Jack destroying Microsoft

I'd chastise you guys for taking leave but then I did take time off to watch Wrestlemania live.

I'll be at work.

Got the week off work.

Unfortunately I am going on a two week holiday after that week so I cannot really ask for any more time off in June. Let's home that the conferences are at reasonable times for here this year, because I only caught one live last year.

There's very few major AAA games I can actually play these days so I have far less interest in E3 than I used to.

With luck I will probably go on to Mumble and make disparaging remarks about some of the games and a lot of the presentations.

Only ever watch the Nintendo conference to see what their up to.

After it's all said and done I'll see what everyone else is up to.

I'll watch the conferences (and whatever Nintendo are doing instead). Hopefully they are timed nicely so that I can get home from work for them.

Watch the main conferences. Watch HSH post gooseberry fool and sig it for another year.

I remember it all got a tad "tired and emotional" last year. I may avoid it this time around and just take a leisurely trot through the comment carnage afterwards.
