Looks like Evolve is this year's manufactured hype recipient.

Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't feel excited about Evolve.

Bored to tears of the massive media wankfest over Evolve already.

Me neither. I watched all conferences and kept up with most of the news all E3 week and I have absolutely no idea what this game is.

I'm not sure you can call it a clone, its made by the developers that made Left 4 Dead in the first place.

Well, it looks quite impressive and all that. Of course, I haven't played it, so I dunno if it's anything like the Next Big Thing as most games writers seem to believe. Since I'm no fan of online gaming it probably won't resonate with me. Is there any kind of player vs AI mode..? If not, I'll pass on it. I've barely played much Titanfall for precisely that reason.

And that's why I'm looking forward to it. Not buying the possibly false media hype but that doesn't mean the game will be poop.

Like L4D Evolve also has a SP mode. No details on it yet, though.

Good to see people still have plenty of faith in the integrity of outlets covering videogames.

But they didn't vote for the game people wanted them to vote for! What banana splits they are.

It's Left4Dead but instead of zombies the 4 of you are up against a giant monster that evolves to get bigger and meaner and is controlled by a real person.

Evolve looked wank.

Also how did it win best online multiplayer when none of them have played it? Why is it even an award?

It was there in playable form, but even still awarding a game best online multiplayer in a closed, controlled environment is still daft.

I assume Turtle Rock aren't complete dummies, but where is the longevity in something like Evolved?
