This is probably the first E3 where I've little to no interest. I'm intrigued by Zelda, but more from a 'what will they do with it' point of view, rather than a 'I want to buy this and can't wait to see it!' perspective.

Increasingly I'm looking back at games that I've missed or didn't have the time/money for - right back to the N64 and Playstation days - rather than looking at the PS4 or Xbox. Still got no interest in buying either of them, and therefore little interest in what's at E3.

I've just realised I'm at a cousin's wedding for first day of e3. :fp: what is the obsession with matrimony these days.

"It should be common sense to just accept the message Nintendo are sending out through their actions."

Do a speech where you only talk about E3 stuff and end on a joke about Nintendo being doomed.

Tell me about it. I'm sure there will be something that I'll like, but I'm finding it hard to muster up excitement this year.

E3 will pass me by again this year, I barely have time to play the games I own, let alone read/talk/think/wank about all the shiny new games that are on the horizon.

Apart from a few games i'm genuinely interested in - a new Forza, what (if anything) Ubi are going to do with AssCreed, if anything interesting shows up at the PCGamer event etc., there's very little I care about. I still watch it all out of a sense of morbid fascination. No way am I staying up for Bethesda or Sony though, i'll check here and Eurogamer the following day instead.

I guess this weekend will see a bunch of leaks and announcements before the press conferences. Can't wait!

Tell me about it! I've absolutely no interest whatsoever. I'll take a quick look at Zelda - but I don't want an in-depth look thank you, somehow I'd rather play it through myself - and then move on. For me, gaming is going through an utterly barren patch - it's all become so identikit. Hopefully things will change.

Captain Kinopio wrote:- The Last of Us 2 teased.

- New Zelda titled, ace demo shown and revealed its unifying the split timelines.

- A reason to buy a Morpheus.

- Horizon Zero Dawn to look fantastic and an early 2017 release.

- That Ubisoft sword combat game to be talked about more and given a release date for this year.

- Some new adventure games to be excited about.

- Generally good conferences and for people to stop talking about E3 like it's becoming irrelevant :(

1) Days Gone is basically The Last of Us 2 so I'm awarding myself that one.
2) Zelda titled, demo was ace, another in the bag.
3) Resi / Star Wars / Batman, yep.
4) Double whammy.
5) New story trailer and February is basically still 2016
6) God of War, Days Gone, Spiderman all looking sweet as.
7) Hmmm, EA and Bethesda were pretty pants, Microsoft was decent, Ubi went on to long and Sony saved the day.
