It's pretty depressing not seeing Nintendo on the list this year. :(

Are Sony always that late so their Asian fans can watch?

:x . I am really enjoying ESO!

But it is a little bit true  .

Hey don't worry Jawa. I've collectively put in over 200 hours to Oblivion and Skyrim. I'm not immune to the ES nonsense. Heck I've been playing far too much Diablo recently and my point could be labelled at that. I just always feel I spend a large chunk of my time with the ES games bored shitless. I really don't think its what Zelda should be. In fact if Zelda must look towards other games for a little spark of inspiration I'd rather it was along the lines of Red Dead Redemption or even, dare I say this, Assassins Creed.

Absolutley, dude, I wouldn't want to see Zelda become Elder Scrolls - the game style probably wouldn't be a good fit with the history of the series.

The good thing is that I don't think it will be; the size and scale would be a bit too much for the Wii U. But perhaps the next Zelda may have taken inspiration from Xenoblade Chronicles X; i.e. a massive gameworld with the same style of RPG / upgrading elements, combined with the traditional Zelda-type of adventure.

Also... an outside bet, but perhaps Zelda U will be that style of expanded, single-player adventure whilst Zelda NX also has additional multiplayer elements?

MENTALIST!

 Yeah I thought it might sound a bit odd. But I'm thinking about how the game deals with its "open world". I quite like the idea of Link having to find landmarks to get info on the map. I know its a bit of a derided Ubisoft system (Far Cry) but it works. Look at Black Flag and compare it to Wind Waker. Sailing feels so much more rewarding and effectively has its own micro game. I know PH sort of did this a bit by allowing you to customize the ship. Its just little things really.

Bit much for Wii U so lets look at a Wii U game?

If you played more of SS you'd know its got that crafting stuff going on Jawa. ;)

Resident Evil 2 Remake making an appearance is probably my biggest wish for this year, but ONLY if it's in the style of Resi 1 remake. No 3rd person bollocks.

Yooka Laylee being impressive is another thing I really want to see.

I just hope Nintendo do some kind of Zelda Celebration with limited editions, re-issues of old games, Skyward Sword HD and loads of other cool Zelda stuff!

The GR Drivetime Podcast is back and this week turns their discerning eye onto E3 2016...

I actually enjoyed doing this, so maybe I'll do it a bit more regular if anyone's interested or the mood takes me.

I've decided I would also like next gen versions of The Italian Job and World's Scariest Police Chases to add to my list of Destruction Derby and The Getaway 3.

I have already conceded none of this is happening.
