I'm looking for plenty of VR stuff and hopefully more Aim Controller support.

Think its going to be difficult for Sony not to 'win' E3 by default.

100% accuracy so far 8-) .

Not so much a prediction but I would like to see SONY add in the ability to play PS1 and perhaps even PS2 discs on PS4.

I don't think the PS4 can read CDs, so PS1 games are out, unless you're on about changes to the hardware? But disc compatibility for PS2 (and 3...) would be incredibly desirable.

I'd prefer download compatibility. Imagine if we could use all of that PSN+ PS3 booty on the PS4! I would of course want something more than perfect emulation, i.e. I could play Deadly Premonition not at gooseberry fool PS3 frame rates. This isn't happening though.

Yes?

Didn't know that, it would make certain PS2 games unreadable too such as Timesplitters I believe.

1) there will be forms of interactive video entertainment the everyday consumer can enjoy from their front room using a 'console' plugged into their TV

A new PS4 Pro, either a replacement or in addition to, with an Ultra Blu Ray Drive; or a 'Buy a PS4 Pro and get their UHD Blu Ray player for free' deal; Plus now includes 4K Netflix.

Basically SOMETHING to combat the UHD Drive in the 2 Xbox's.

I gotta admit that I will be frustrated if Sony update the Pro. It only launched in December!

I was under the impression that while they had the Pro coming out, they also had a Scorpio-grade machine also in the works. Maybe I'm just mistaken though.

This post is very disappointing. Jawa has had 12 months to come up with a response to those he disagrees with and he posts this half baked excuse for criticism with absolutely no exclusive words.

I suspect that PS5 is well into development but I'm not aware of any rumours that an updated Pro is on the way. I like the Pro but it does feel like Sony hasn't handled it particularly well; it's not usually clear on what games are being "boosted" and how. To your mass market gamer, it probably doesn't appear to offer that much of an upgrade over the standard PS4. Digital Foundry have provided far more insight into the benefits of the system then Sony itself has!

You know, I didn't watch the EA presentation so the Microsoft one was the first that I saw this year and, I must admit, keeping an eye on the GRcade thread whilst watching the presentation was a little dispiriting. I don't mean that in a "I'm putting down GRcadians" way; more of a disappointment that what should have been a cool, exciting occasion turned into something that was a bit frustrating. Maybe that's what the presentation deserved... or maybe I'm not critical enough... I'm not sure. I like people to be positive but perhaps folk genuinely didn't see stuff in the presentation that floated their boat, which is fair enough.

I dunno, really. I love being part of GRcade but, as with anything, I guess you can't like all of it for all of the time.

Solution, don't come of GR during the conferences, just sit back and enjoy them...then come on here afterwards and tear your hair out at some of the things posted.

Regretfully, dude, my bald pate doesn't allow for hair-pulling  .

Anyway, I'm going to watch the Ubi presentation tonight and get excited about The Crew 2. I'm sure that thousands hundreds tens a few maybe one other person (someone...?) will get excited about it as well 8-) .

I'm not sure if it has already been confirmed, but apparently the Nintendo presentation is only going to last thirty minutes? I guess they'll have more "Treehouse" gameplay afterwards, but that doesn't feel like time to showcase too many games.

Apparently, Nintendo came to E3 this year with 3 unannounced games. The first is Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. We don't know what the others are - though one is suspected to be by Blizzard.
