Because everyone has been so sour around here, lets lighten the mood with what at E3 has caught your attention and what are you looking forward too?

For me, Battlefield 3 is going to be the gaming event of the year
Pretty much all of Ubi's output
Ausra's Wrath seems as bonkers and manic as ever
SFIII: Online looking and sounding like it's going to live up the promise of smooth online gaming and more
GT's game coverage which was, with out a doubt, the best coverage I have seen for E3

The only thing memorable for any of the conferences will be the Zelda orchestra and WiiU.

There's still 3 more days of E3 left (evenings for us), so much more yet to see.

Elders Scroll Skyrim and Prey 2.

Both were majestic. Superb visuals and presentation, epic in scale and pushing old hardware to new heights.

Battlefield 3, Skyward Sword, Rayman, Skyrim are the most impressive games so far. Reggie's interview on GameTrailers is the best piece of media so far.

That's the rest of the year sorted with those four games at any rate.

It's a new game for PS3 and Vita from Vanillaware. Looks like a sequel to Saturn classic Princess Crown. Some gorgeous 2D art.

I haven't really covered much ground yet but for me only really Wii U, Luigi's Mansion 2 and generally the inevitable impression that "we will get more of these kinda gamez innit", which is non-news anyway. And a lot of previously announced games. I don't really do the whole relishing over new footage thing so I was only really here for the announcements. I suppose in that regard I wasn't overwhelmed, but it still tickles me to have the whole E3 shebang going on. I bet I'll discover lots of new stuff over the coming days as it trickles through the grapevine, as usual.

1. Skyrim
2. Batman
3. Vita

I don't want to rank it, but Nintendo's conference was another. It was just one curve-ball and unanswered question after another - totally not what I was expecting. Part of me wishes they had just gone with a powerhouse console and a Steam-driven online system, but I really don't think that's what Nintendo are about any more, and I doubt they'll do anything like that in the future. Still, will be interesting to see what comes of it.

For me this year...

Space Marine
Rage
Ico & SotC HD Collection
Battlefield 3
Batman Arkham City
Uncharted 3
Skyrim
Super Mario 3DS
Journey
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary

Those are my top 10 for the year remaining.

Of course then theres 2012, Bioshock Infinite, Mass Effect 3 and later in the year Halo 4.

Can't see a new Xbox in 2013 by the way, not going to happen.

Mass Effect 3 - I've been waiting for this galactic war with the Reapers since the beginning and it looked stunning.
Skyrim - Dragon battles look strawberry floating awesome and the world is just beautiful.
Batman Arkham City - The scale seems so much more grand than the first game and the combat looks as fun as ever.
Battlefield 3 - Probably the best graphics I've ever seen and you just know that the multiplayer will kick major ass.
Bioshock Infinite - It looks like nothing else out there and I'm certain the story and atmosphere will live up to the Bioshock name.

Other games that I'll be buying or that have caught my attention: Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, From Dust, Prey 2, Far Cry 3, Assassins Creed Revelations, Dark Souls, Minecraft (360), Gears of War 3, Forza 4, Deus Ex Human Revolution and a hell of a lot more I can't think of right now since there's so many...

Ranked, Player Match & Tournament online options
8 Player Lobby
8 Man Spectator mode
Quarter Matches
Random character select
In a lobby, the next pair will fight rather than a winner stays on system. (Not clear if you can alter this aspect or applies to just a full lobby)
100 Trials
100 Challenges
Both provide points to spend on 200 items from the Gallery Vault
Remixed and Original soundtracks

Dip Switch options ala System Direction
Parry Training [including one called Evo Moment #37 with appropriate achievement ]
Combo Training
Preview option available in Training modes to show you what you're expected to be doing.
Widescreen and Stretch options.

Everything else that happened at E3 literally does not matter. This. Just... this.

But that Demon's Crown game looks quite good suzz.

A positive thread in Grcade?

I don't think it's going to be able to handle this.
