You can read the headlines of the conferences in a few minutes in the evenings!

Would you rather watch a football match live, or just get the score off the BBC website? Part of the joy of E3 is enjoying the real-time reactions and meltdowns on GRcade and GAF.

This

It's like Christmas for gamers, I have Mon, Tues and Weds off to enjoy it all

I'm quite open about it. My manager is a gamer, too.

Real workers watch E3 at work while pretending to work.

My holiday days are special and E3 is not that special.

Now that I can understand - watch all the E3 stuff whilst at work.

Also, with the time difference, surely most stuff takes place in the evening anyway?!!!

I'm sure Nintendo did one around 5 UK time last year as I watched that at my desk and got annoyed that someone came to talk to me while Zelda was being shown :x

It's not that I can't just sit and watch it at my desk, but that people would be interrupting me. I get paid the same either way, so I might as well watch it from the comfort of my home instead of going in to work and being so distracted I get nothing done.
