So E3 has come and gone and a lot of the usual suspects have again failed to materialize. There's the obvious ones like Valve stuff/Half Life 2 Ep3 which nobody expected to make an appearance, but what expected games were no-shows that disappointed you?

For me

The Last Guardian. Just :| :fp:

Beyond Good and Evil. How many years has it been now since that teaser? Four? Where the strawberry float is it, Ubi?

Agent :slol:

Anything from Epic.

Prince of Persia remake/reboot. There was so much talk about this before the show and it must have all been bullshit. I'd love another entry, I even loved the last game based off the movie. It seemed to pass most people by but I had a great time with it.

Proper large scale Mario platformer. I've no doubt 3D World (what an awful name) will be great but it's really not what I wanted at all. I'm sure we'll get a more traditional Mario platformer in due course, though.

F-Zero/Starfox/Metroid. strawberry float sake Nintendo.

Advance Wars. It's the only game I wanted to see and it was missing again. :x :(

Nintendo ditching waggle bullshit and announcing the Gamecube 2, with specs similar to PS4/XB1. Launch games: Wind Waker 2, a Metroid Prime as amazing as the original and Perfect Dark 2 (they went back in time and brought a 2000-era Rare to 2013 to make it).

Fallout 4.

It's been five years Bethesda released 3, I felt that they should have at least shown us something by now. But alas, no trailer, no teaser, not even a mention; nothing.

Apparently it wasn't in a state in which it was ready to be shown.

Some more grand theft auto five footage would have been nice.

Yeah, I am surprised that nothing was mentioned during E3. There had been rumours of exclusivity and a next-gen reveal. I'm wondering if Fallout 4 can ever live up to expectations; 3 was generally regarded as terrific and even then I feel it was critically over-looked (although it was a Game of the Year!). Maybe the development ambitions for 4 will be too high?

We didn't see Crackdown 3, everything else on that MS dashboard pic appeared so I would expect to see that announced soon, plus whatever Lionhead are doing and something else from Rare, hopefully Banjo/Perfect Dark.

That didn't stop Yoshi's Island 3DS :dread:
