Nintendo shares fall 2.68% after E3 show:

http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/nintendo-shares-fall-following-e3-presentation/097533

Anyone got a screen cap of when StayDead went on a rant about how the conference was 'smart' and appealing to investors.

That sucks for Nintendo, even worse the Wii U was reported on CNN as an accessory for the Wii :fp:

Staydead said they went up

I think the share price went up a lot before E3, its probably more that they didn't stay high, rather than that they actually lost overall.

EDIT - Actually its kind of irrelevant I think. Since the end of March the shares have pretty much fallen day by day (lost 24% of their value), they bottomed out at the end of May and began climbing again till just before the E3 conference, now they've slipped back a little, but are still higher than their lowest recent point at the end of May (still 19% lower than they were in March).

Ubisoft contemplates releasing ZombiU on other platforms post-launch

One of the most exciting third-party WiiU titles announced at E3 this week, ZombiU, may go multi-platform following its WiiU-exclusive debut according to Ubisoft.

“ZombiU at its core was designed to be a great Wii U game and in order to make that work on other platforms they would have to change a lot of what makes the game cool,” Ubisoft’s senior vice president of sales and marketing Tony Key told IGN. “And I’m not saying that can’t be done, but not in the next six months, you know?”

Key stated that it would likely only happen if the company could successfully transfer ‘what makes the game cool’ on to other systems, citing previous considerations to release Red Steel for additional consoles.

A possible multiplatform release is definitely not out of the question though, with Key praising technology available for rival platforms that could serve as alternatives.

“There’s definitely going to be knowledge that we gain from developing for Wii U that we’ll be able to transfer not only to SmartGlass technology but also to even the cross-talk on PlayStation 3 and Vita.”

Don't really care if it gets ported a year after release to a system where its going to be more difficult to control anyway. Don't really see how they can make it work with smart glass to be honest.

New Super Mario U Gameplay Wii U E3 2012

Never remember how to do the new embed code :x

No doubting it will be fun to play but it just doesn't look like a launch system seller to me

To be honest, we knew about nearly everything at all the conferences this year. There wasn't too many suprises from anybody.

Ubisoft had ZomiU, cool new rayman gooseberry fool, and game of e3 Watch Dogs.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Sky news are reporting that Wii U will come with 2 Gamepads! Surely that's a mistake?

Here's my reply to staydeads claim of Nintendo's sky-rocketing share price.

Peter Crisp wrote:The share price has barely moved in the last month and was closed when you posted.
It was not sky-rocketing in any way shape or form unless you claim a climb in the last two weeks from the low point of 88 back to 94 when the months high point was 3 and a half weeks ago when it was just below 100 is sky-rocketing.

All you need to do is look at the link below and select the 1 month figures or go even further back if you like.

The 6 month share price figures make for pretty gruesome reading so you may want to give it a miss. If you want some nostalgia try the 5 year figures where nintendo topped out at 429.1.

NSMB is Nintendo's COD but I loved the original so will get this as soon as I can. The co-op just works so well, especially after a bit of drinking. The best thing is that everyone can play it, so you can get the non-gamer types in with the fun.

Hype hype.

I love it when that happens, there's always one guy running and jumping under you to bounce you into something. Also, some idiots who will try ground pound you into a hole and just miss. Love this game to bits.

I admitted I was wrong, why do you keep mentioning it in every single thread?

I didn't see where you said you were wrong and I've not mentioned it anywhere else.

I'm looking forward to helping everyone reach the end of a section when you have to go up into a pipe to move on. Only to place a block right in the way at the last moment.

If Nintendo get the price right, between this and Nintendo Land I can see them having a good Christmas gift for families. Not sure there is enough for me yet mind.

Paper Mario, Luigi's Mansion AND New Super Mario Bros 2. Really good first party line up for the end of the year, can't wait for Paper Mario.

Castlevania Lord of Shadow: Mirror of Fate

This is incorrect. It is Castlevania: Lord of Shadow - Mirror Of Fate

In the event of a sequel, I guess they'll use a semi-colon.

Castlevania: Lord Of Shadow - Mirror Of Fate; Reflections of Time

God help us if it's a trilogy.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.
