Honestly Sony look like they have blown their load early. They have announced two huge titles ahead of the event. I guess they'll be looking to showcase Move and 3D

Microsoft could have some big surprises up their sleeves, but Nintendo have let nothing slip really. I think I am more excited about Nintendo this year due to so little being known.

FFXV to be an 360 exclusive.

Also, the 3DS will be released this year and Nintendo will show a teaser trailer for the next Zelda (graphics will hint at a next gen release). MS will show us the first in a series of Episodic Mass Effect games between 2 and 3. Project Natal will get a proper name and will be about twice as developed as when it was last seen, stunning the press with its accuracy. Fable III will have a trailer and full demo available. Everyone has an orgasm over the new Last Guardian trailer. Valve announced that they have scrapped Half-Life 2 Episode 3... and have instead made Half-Life 3 with up to date grapghics and a new trailers. Everyone has another orgasm.

Microsoft: Natal to be main event. Slim 360 to be released later this year. Demo presentations of Gears of War 3, Halo Reach and Fable 3. Date for Alan Wake episodes announced. Some exclusive content for Call of Duty Black Ops. Rock Band 3 shown. Price drop announced for current hardware.

Sony: PSP2 will be biggest announcement. Move will feature but not be as prominent as Natal. Demo presentations of Last Guardian, Gran Turismo 5 (Date will be announced for this one), Killzone 3 and LittleBigPlanet 2. Trailers for Motorstorm 3, Resisitance 3 and Starhawk. Premium PSN service. Some sort of PS2 backwards compatibility. PS3 price drop.

Nintendo: 3DS to be the main announcement. NSMB2 as a launch title. Pokemon Black/White shown which has enhancements when played on 3DS. Wii Vitality Sensor Demoed. Zelda Wii announced and shown for release before the end of the year. Retro Studios new game shown. Wii Party demoed. Wii price drop.

PC: Half-Life 3 is announced with Source Engine 2 behind it. Episode 3 was scrapped and they went for a complete sequel. Portal 2 is demoed.

Just Sony predictions from me:

No PSP2 at all (get real), new PSP bundling and pricing, RE and some other new ports of console franchises. God of War footage shown. Sizzle reel showing a bunch of annual franchises (NFS, EASports etc.), and some hack and slash fluff. PSP's surprise of the show is a new CoD game.

For PS3, lots of Move stuff. Same minigame collections we've seen in another sizzle reel with SOCOM and gooseberry fool Fighter (or whatever it's called). About 3 on-stage demos. One of something really casual that we haven't seen, another of a more traditional game (Killzone 3), and the last from Jenova Chen and thatgamecompany that steals the show. Some gameplay footage of The Last Guardian (2011 release), and a trailer for MotorStorm 3 (due this Xmas) before a few slides and videos of GT5's new features and online, and a September release date worldwide, announced by Kevin Butler on stage beside Yamauchi, pretending to be translator guy.

Other announcements include premium PSN subscriptions, Mass Effect, Peace Walker for PS3, FFXIV beta date, and one big 3rd party exclusive. There will also be a stage demo of LBP2 at some point. Probably for the finances again.

If I'm honest, I was most excited about Nintendo last year aswell, they always showcase the best generally of what they have to offer, just look back at 2008 to see that. Yeah they announced the Vitality Sensor and Wii Fit Plus, but they showed us Galaxy 2, Other M and hinted at a new Zelda. I love Nintendos conferences way more than the others.

Seeing as MS effectivelly financed the developement of Mass Effect in exchange for exclusivity, there is no way in hell it is every going to appear on PS3. They also are the publisher for the first game.

New Mass Effect 2 expansion announced, big in scope like the Dragon age Awakenings pack, possibly bridges the gap between 2 and 3, or even 1-2

Natal to be a bit of a hit/miss product (already seems to be the case, but after their presentation it'll be a clear marmite product.)
A new star wars game to be announed, based on the Jedi outcast series.
A big DLC pack for Red Dead announced, massive like the ballad of gay tony.
Darksiders sequel? (I haven't finished the first but sales wise it seemed to do well)
Amped 4! (strawberry float Coolborders and SSX this is the truest Snowboarding experiance!)

on another note...
can a dev really afford to put out a game as an exclusive now unless it is a small game that they need the backing of Sony or M$ to sell?

also, if the likes of FF have sold well on 360 (for example), would the dev really want to miss out on those sales for the next in the franchise?
