Really? Must have missed that announcement...

It was in the same announcement that the thing actually exists.

Anyone else think Sony's E3 is gonna be a bit awkward?

For that reason, it's possibly the one I'm most looking forward to seeing.

Shouldn't be too bad if they make their 31st of May target and the downtime doesn't run into E3. With all the other news it'll probably be mostly forgotten about!

Given the rumours about Microsoft buying Skype I wouldn't be surprised if they killed off Kinect video chat at E3 and replaced it with Skype video calling and integrated Skype support into the 360.

Project Cafe tease (a la Revolution announcement).
Skyward Sword demo.
Pikmin 3 video.
F-Zero announcement.
Super Mario 3DS video.
Kid Icarus Uprising video.
WarioWare 3D announcement.
Zelda OoT 3D video.
Several other 3DS announcements from third parties.

Nintendo have already confirmed that Project Cafe will be playable at E3, so expect more than a Revolution-style tease.

Dance Central 2 has also already been announced as coming.

We're going to be overwhelmed by a tsunami of charts and graphs.

I wonder if these graphs will include the amount of lost revenue felt by publishers due to the PSN outage...

Looks like they've bought them:

$8.5 billion!

I'd make the guess they'll use Skype's tech to vastly improve the 360 voice comms. Possibly expanding parties beyond 8 people, more in depth video comms (Possibly with Kinect). It's exciting stuff for sure.

Sony need a good E3. My guess is they put a heap of emphasis on the NGP and introduce some new PSN features that helps bring people back on board. They'll probably wheel out some mega-showcase thing that grabs them headline inches. My guess is GTA5 since that's already confirmed for the PS3 but not expected to be shown anytime soon. A new Final Fantasy? Would anyone care at this stage?

NGP to launch first in either the USA or EU, not Japan.

I do not see that happening as the PSP market is biggest in Japan.

Seconding that. I really can't see Sony pissing over their largest market for their portable handhelds in such manner.

They won't be able to afford launching the NGP now so forget about it.

And thus the market needing the NGP the least. :o

Did somebody already say "Zelda: Skyward Sword will be a project Cafe launch game"? No? Well then,

Zelda: Skyward Sword will be a project Cafe launch game.

There hasn't been a worthwhile Wii release for months - yet Nintendo are keeping schtum about this high profile game. Plus they are currently feeling the consequences of releasing a system without a good line-up of launch games: sales of the 3DS are lower than expected. Last but not least: they did something similar before...

Whether or not there will also be a Wii version is something I'm not going to speculate about.

I did like the M’soft’s..”oh, its under your chair” giveaway...

Anyone who announce something and have it on the shelves in days...will win E3 for me.

That's interesting and could possibly be true as if Skyward Sword was to be released this year surely we'd have heard more bits about it, unless they're going for an E3 blowout on it or something.
