I haven't watched the Nintendo conference (I'm downloading it now) but I'm so happy about a return to the original (kinda) GoldenEye, + online multiplayer. Glad to hear about a Pilotwings, but sad there is no Wii version.

Biggest disappointment was the Microsoft conference. What with the Time Square live show and the pre-show hype MS were stirring up I was expecting a few megatons and for them to win E3 hands down, instead.... Apart from Halo/Gears/Fable/CoD/ at the start, virtually the entire show was dedicated to Natal/Kinex/whatever. Now I knew Natal would play a part, but to dominate the show? I wouldn't have minded but besides the Star Wars title I didn't see any games for the hardcore. I'm not even looking for some deepshit hardcore game, just something different than party games. Also all that crappy fakey fakey acting including the dumb blonde twins. Craptacula doesn't describe it. It was actually terrible. I hope they come to realise how bad it was. Maybe they can redeem themselves at E3 2011 and steal the show by announcing the new Xbox for launch in 'Fall' 2012?

Top 5 games of the show:

1) Donkey Kong Country Returns - I'm a huuuuuge DK fan, a new DKC game is something I've been wanting for years but ultimately assumed I'd never get...
2) Kid Icarus Uprising - There's the slight worry that it'll suck, but wow, what a way to bring back a franchise. Don't let me down, Sakurai!
3) Kirby Epic Yarn - This is how you reinvigorate a series!
4) Zelda: Skyward Sword - It still has a-ways to go, but something about it tells me it's going to be quite amazing. It's low on my radar for now due to being pushed back to 2011.
5) Marvel vs Capcom 3 - I'm a dirty Capcom fighter whore, so more is fine by me!

Special Mentions: Scott Pilgrim (didn't pay attention to it at E3, but what I've seen otherwise looks great!), Epic Mickey, lots of the announced 3DS stuff, Rayman Origins, Sonic 4 (it'd be higher if it weren't for the slight doubts about its eventual quality), Little Big Planet 2, Sorcery, Dance Central.

Top Nintendo Thing: A tie between the 3DS and Donkey Kong Country Returns.

Top Microsoft Thing:
Dance Central, and maybe Fable III. I should probably get round to trying out that series...

Top Sony Thing: Little Big Planet 2 and Sorcery looked promising :) And whilst I don't like him *that* much (I don't want to say overrated, but you know what I mean...), Kevin's Butler's gamer speech was funny and oddly inspirational.

Disappointments/Rants:
Motion control stuff looked mostly uninspiring, with a few exceptions. I'm not against m-control, but it seems the innovation tends to come in the hardware and not the software. In general, I found little of interest in Sony's and especially Microsoft's conferences. While there's a lot I'm looking forward to, it's a shame nearly all of it is established franchises; could do with some more new game concepts and ideas.
