At this stage Microsoft have got to be paying to keep it console exclusive. Its damn near essential if you have an Xboxone.

I very much doubt they are, you're forgetting at the outset that EA offered it to Microsoft AND Sony. Plus they run a similar service now on PC, who's paying for that?

Isn't it more likely that Sony didn't want it to undercut their streaming game service (which it does substantially) and because they are leading in the console race they simply aren't bothered?

EDIT:
Peter Moore was asked about it and said to look at Sony's Statement about it, which is:
"We evaluated the EA Access subscription offering and decided that it does not bring the kind of value PlayStation customers have come to expect,” adding, “We don’t think asking our fans to pay an additional $5 a month for this EA-specific program represents good value to the PlayStation gamer."

For the Gamers. ;)

It's great value, especially if you like the sports titles. Sony are tits.

Later this year, even more blockbuster content will hit The Vault, including:

o Dead Space Ignition
o Madden NFL 17
o Skate 3
o Zuma's Revenge

Additionally, members will be able to experience 10 hours of the next chapter in the epic space opera, Mass Effect: Andromeda before its release with the EA Access Play First Trial beginning on March 16, 2017.

FIFA 16 was mid-April, so I'd expect a similar timeframe.

FIFA games don't change enough each year to be worth buying every year, but the Vault solves that problem for me.

Not that I have any time to be playing games, it's just nice the option is there if I do manage to find an hour or so.

That was one of the main selling points for me when Access was first launched. I love sports games but can't justify dropping £40 every year on new updates. I don't mind waiting a few months so this is ideal.

Absolutely. Makes dropping a few quid on FUT more acceptable :shifty:
