For example, if you owned EA games on disc that were coming to The Vault in the next couple of weeks...

Nope, no need to download again (at least from my experience with FIFA 15).

Will I have to at least activate it in the xbone store or something?

No, when you launch it, it will recognise you have EA Access so it will just play.

Remember when people were skeptical about EA Access?

Apparently both Battlefield Premiums are now free via EA Access too. Not got access to the Xbox right now so can't confirm, but that's great news if true. :)

EDIT - Confirmirimirized.

I think we all new that one was inevitable but a great addition none the less.

Quite. Probably the best subscription service out there seeing as you have access to the entire vault regardless of when you join.

EA access is pretty damn fantastic, just wish Sony would not be arses and allow it on PS4 as that's my main console. I only use my Xbox One for EA access and MS exclusives (except Fifa, that stays on PS4)

Might be E3 related. Nice if we could play the E3 Booth demos.

EA: Other Publishers Want to Include Their Games in EA Access and Origin Access

Electronic Arts has gone on record several times on the fact that EA Access on Xbox One and the recently introduced Origin Access on PC are quite successful subscription services, and apparently other publishers have taken notice, and would like a slice of the cake, as mentioned by CEO Andrew Wilson during the Q&A Session of the latest investor day.

“Right now we are getting knocks on the door on a very regular basis from other publishers who want to be in EA Access and Origin Access because they see the value of being part of that player network.”

Wilson did not mention whether those knocks on the door will actually result in games from outside EA’s portfolio actually getting introduced as part of its Access subscriptions, but it’s certainly quite promising.

E3 usually offers up a ton of stuff free/launched onto live, last year we got 15 or so backwards compat games and 2 preview games.
