I'm hoping for Unravel in...July, maybe? Total guess.

Same, which is what's held me off buying it at £7.50. I have a feeling that it will soon be on there because it's already half price in a sale.. :shifty:

It's usually a reliable indicator, yeah. I'm saying July because it wasn't a full price release, it'll be a tad later than that probably.

Well you can still get the ten hour trials of them.

I love that you can do that. Been playing Unravelled and I get the feeling you could probably see most of the game using the trial time.

I don't tend to play much EA stuff but the Vault's a brilliant idea.

Unravel's trial is locked to the first two levels. But yeah, I get what you're saying. I had the career in Rory McIlroy almost finished in the trial.

As well as being a decent subscription rental scheme, I like how EA offers trials and that 10% discount on new AAA games. It'd be cool if Live/Gold and PS Plus offered similar discounts for new AAA games.

Live offers 10% off a lot of its larger downloadable games, 10% off superhot in its first week for instance, Ori had it too, not AAA games of course but not bad.

Yeah, both Live/Gold and PS Plus offer some discounts on pre-orders for new indie/smaller games but, to the best of my knowledge, neither offers the discount on new, big titles like EA Access does. It'd be great if they did offer a similar incentive.

I guess that's probably down to the publisher. Smaller indie companies are happy to jump on board with Gold discounts because Microsoft will then promote it, but there's no need for, say Activision to give you cheap Call Of Duty on day one.

Yeah, that's a good point, mhtl - but I wonder if both Live/Gold and PS Plus would be able to mirror EA Access by offering the discount on "big" games? I believe that EA's scheme offers playable demos (up to ten hours?) and a 10% discount on all of their big titles, too - stuff like Star Wars Battlefront.
