I enjoyed the trial of Unravel but avoided buying as I knew it would end up in the Vault.

Bar FIFA and Battlefield, I literally wait for the games to come to this instead.

Same here. EA have stopped me buying their games outright, but seeing as I only buy one or two a year now, that's not a big deal. I am also hoping that Battlefield Star Wars will appear soon, it is getting cheaper in the shops so they may as well try and give copies away to flog the DLC.

Excellent :toot: I'd almost bought Plants vs Zombies GW2 and Unravel a few times. Is it usually the case that if the game appears as a trial then it'll be free later on down the line?

Every EA game on Xbox One has gone or is about to go into the vault bar NBA Live 14, Mirrors Edge and Star Wars Battlefront.

I'm sure Mirrors Edge will go in next year, but I wonder if Star Wars ever will?

I can't see NBA Live 14 making it now. ;)

Star Wars was like €25 last week, its bound to go in to get people buying the season pass.

I would expect Star Wars to go in around September / October time, with a big push on advertising to get people signing up.

My understanding is that it would depend on how much the game sells, with lower sellers being quicker to enter the EA/Origin Access vaults. With Battlefield in particular, I would expect them to either have them coincide with Rogue One or the last DLC pack.

EA: Other Publishers Want to Include Their Games in EA Access and Origin Access

Electronic Arts has gone on record several times on the fact that EA Access on Xbox One and the recently introduced Origin Access on PC are quite successful subscription services, and apparently other publishers have taken notice, and would like a slice of the cake, as mentioned by CEO Andrew Wilson during the Q&A Session of the latest investor day.

“Right now we are getting knocks on the door on a very regular basis from other publishers who want to be in EA Access and Origin Access because they see the value of being part of that player network.”

Wilson did not mention whether those knocks on the door will actually result in games from outside EA’s portfolio actually getting introduced as part of its Access subscriptions, but it’s certainly quite promising.

Incidentally, Origin Access does now have a few non-EA indie games in its vault: specifically, This War of Mine, Banner Saga 1, Torchlight 2, Trine 1 & 2 and Dungeons of Dredmor. So, this is definitely being experimented with.

SSX is now available for Access members. It was a Game With Gold a while back, but nice to have for anyone who missed it.

So GW2 should be added to the Vault today, what time do they usually stick the games in there?

Nope, pretty sure it recognizes that you've EA access...it MAY ask you to download but it do it for a few seconds just to verify your Access membership then its unlocked.

I had Battlefield 4 on disc and it simply didn't ask for it after I joined Access, didn't require me to do anything.

You were right Photek, didn't need to do anything it just recognised my EA Access sub. What was even better is that I could also import all my unlocked characters and abilities from GW1 that I have on PS4 to GW2 on Xbone :datass:
