Edge Online wrote:Electronic Arts may have set into motion a lawsuit against South Park creators Matt Stone and Tray Parker for their depiction of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11.
In the debut episode of the 14th season, entitled Sexual Healing, EA’s upcoming golf title is shown as a recreation of Tiger Wood’s arguments with his wife over accusations of infidelity. Even the car crash which brought the scandal to public eye is depicted as a level in the EA Sports game, which later transforms in a side-on fighter.
In a report by Daily Informer, a “source” at EA explained: “Soon after the airing of the episode the top beef were called in, even Peter Moore was informed of the situation... before the episode aired the marketing folks were already worried, but now they have a lot more to worry about”.
The source added: “While I personally found the episode quite funny, there are definitely a few copyright infringements in there that I’m sure will be dealt with accordingly.”
This aired last night following Dirty Sexy Funny with Olivia Lee on Comedy Central. I watched both. South Park was considerably funnier than the former.
First time I've watched South Park since, well, probably the movie actually.
