The third in their new top ten series and a rather controversial set of picks.

10. Onomichi - Yakuza 6
9. Whiterun - Skyrim
8 - Tarrey Town - Breath of the Wild
7. Oxenfurt - The Witcher 3
6. Gerudo Town - Breath of the Wild
5. Megaton - Fallout 3
4. Clocktown - Majora's Mask
3. Dobuita - Shenmue
2. Rogueport - The Thousand Year Door
1. Hateno Village - Breath of the Wild

No GTA either. It's a daft top ten anyway.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

Zelda does have some of gaming's best towns to be fair, and I love all the towns they listed. I guess they were avoiding spoilers but Tarrey Town is great & deserving because of the process of building it, not necessarily just in itself as a town.

Rogueport is an excellent call. For that alone they are 100% right and anyone who says otherwise should be ashamed of themselves. :datass:

Decent list, the Zelda ones are all good, as is Whiterun, as it acts as a hub from the start of the game. I'm only slightly disappointed that Rogueport didn't get number 1 spot, superb place to explore and interact with its inhabitants.

What towns (not cities) from GTA would you include?

Novigrad is a city as well.

I love Zelda and for me Breath of the Wild is the best game ever made. Even so 3 from the game is just bizarre and the rest of the list is plain weird, particularly for this group. For how much they prattle on about them I’m stunned there’s nothing from Final Fantasy or other JRPGs in here. This really reads like a troll list for clicks, or the first 10 towns Damiani and Huber could name.

That said, Rogueport is a brilliant pick and Hateno is one of my favourite locales in any Zelda

I think they made this after reading my "cosy game" thread.

Not a great list IMO, but I really like the Allies, so they get a pass.
