They want to be seen as a "hive mind" with one voice. They're not, of course, and many contributors to such mags think it's a silly policy.

OPM used to do that. It only took them 3 years to realise it was stupid...

I don't really get the fascination with Geometry Wars. It's just a graphically beefed up clone of Asteroids as far as I'm concerned.

It's absolutely nothing like Asteroids.

It's more like Robotron 2084 than Asteroids.
