I was surprised by that, too - although I believe that gamesTM also assessed the game as a 6.

Would have thought Star Fox 2 getting a 5 would be more shocking.

Maybe, HSH... but I have read a few views about Star Fox 2 and the general opinion seems to be that, whilst being an interesting curio, it’s not great.

Oh, and I like both covers - the white Mario version and the darker tones of the subscriber version.

The problem with the Starfox 2 score is that the game is absolutely strawberry floating shite, barely functional and literally the worst new release of the whole year.

Basically, it wasn't good enough to get released back then and Starfox has aged atrociously, so in 2017 it's worthless

starfox 2 is a curio as someone else said. Treating it as or expecting it to be anything else is daft. Calling it a new release and being upset at its quality is a strawberry floating joke.
A game not deemed worthy of release that was added as a bonus to an already incredibly rich and generous games package is what it is. Interesting only from a curiosity and nostalgia viewpoint.

Absolver, Destiny 2 and PCars 2 scores of 8 are fair I'd say. All quality games in their respective genres.

The new Mario does look the mutts.
