I like the intention of using more of the 10 point scale. An Edge 6 doesn't normally mean a bad game

Games are generally rated from 5-10 these days, 5's being reserved for games of utter shitness like Sonic Forces.

I hear reasonable things about Sonic Forces. The reception is definitely more mixed than universally panned.
