I can't outright support Scotland, too many people know where I'm from so I'm in a "Whoever wins, I lose" situation.

The U-21 match will probably be better than the senior game. Also as it's a friendly I'm finding it hard to care about the match but England aren't exactly a brilliant team at the moment so they will probably only win by one goal.

I have a theory most friendlies are fixed results. I think this will be 1-1 or 2-2.

I can't see England not scoring.

It'll be an intriguing match. For obvious reasons I follow a lot of Scottish football folk on twitter and they certainly seem to be more excited than the English. I hope that translates to the pitch and Scotland get off to a flier. An early goal for Scotland will cue the whole thing up very nicely.

I'm going for:

England 3-1 Scotland (Rooney, Gerrard, Walcott; Adam)

Will probably watch this, don't really care about the outcome.

2-1 England, hopefully Lambert and Defoe get the bulk of the minutes up front for England, rather than Rooney and Welbeck. :dread:

Keep reading that he's been Man Utd's star performer in pre-season. Would be good to see him get at least a half.

I just want a spirited attacking display of football tonight. It would be incredible if we could beat england at wembley, but as long as we continue to improve by being strong, tight in defence and adventurous upfront then I'll not be too disappointed if we lose. We've beat better sides than England in recent years, so I don't see why we can't get at least a draw if we play well tonight.

Great opportunity for one of our young boys to become a hero in the first international fixture ever played! Well the first was in glasgow, but you know what I mean.

Enjoy the match guys!

It's guaranteed from Clive Tyldesley. You'd hope that Keane/Dixon/Southgate would be reasonably impartial though. I'm sure Adrian Chiles' ludicrous questions will distract people though.

I was surprised to see STV are actually showing the game tonight. Going by the TV listing they're doing their own broadcast with Terry Butcher and Mr Charisma Paul Lambert in the studio.

He is a top, top striker. Never understood why England don't use him. He's scored at every level he's played at, so Scotland will have to put a lot of work into keeping him quiet.
