That article says it takes an average of 10.5 sips to drink a pint. Surely that's not right?

I'm always first to finish my pint in a round (yes, I'm a seasoned alcoholic) and I would swear on the baby Jesus himself that I pick up and sip from the glass more than 10.5 times! Maybe I'm just taking lots of small sips?!

Might have to do a bit of research :shifty:.

I first tried pumpkin ale in a pub a few years ago and really liked it.

Got some Brew Dog ones last year. Nice at first but couldnt drink a lot of it.

Dont normally go for darker ales but they were all they had and its just convenient to order!

Peter Crisp does it in 3 sips.

Looking at the thread title I thought you had made a browser toolbar to link to GRView for a minute. :slol:

Well it would be understandable given the gazillion years it's been since I did any actual development on this site :(

I'm currently building a CNC enclosure and increasingly using a computer destroys my brain and my back.

hopefully when I have my gooseberry fool/monies together I can rejoin the beer/cider club and sort out ALL THE THINGS.

We should sort a kind of bugzilla / task management type thing up and you log all the shiz you want to do then any of us can work on it and submit the code to implementation like the spoiler box thing (which I still need to update as I have a slight fix I need to do that will resolve the spoiler in a sig bug).
Will lighten your load and help move stuff forward.

I'm not much of a drinker these days but had one of these (amongst others) at the weekend:

Very nice/10. Was the standout from what I had. Would drink again.

I had a bit of a bad experience with Beer52. I phoned up to cancel (couldn't do it online), and was put on hold for around 10 minutes. Then as soon as I mentioned wanting to cancel the guy pretended he couldn't hear me until I hung up. Ended up having to just cancel the payments through the bank, bunch of banana splits.

Getting a load of beers was nice, but it was encouraging me to drink too much, there's wasn't enough dark stuff and the magazine was a pile of shite just wasting money. I'd rather spend £24 in my local beer emporium.

That's not good, their cancellation thing is ridiculous, for me there isn't anywhere near that has that big a changing range we have a borough wines branch in Hastings now which is awesome but that doesn't change mega often and not always by that much so b52 for me is epic as I love the theme and trying new stuff.

I'll agree with the dark thing they tend to go light to middle on colour I guess it pleases the most people. Personally I don't mind as dark beer tend to sit in my fridge longer as they are are hard to find the right time to drink them.

Yeah it is all done on your sign up date, so as I signed up later I have to wait longer :(
I've tried to have it moved but apparently that's impossible.
