Just from the name, I guessed Proper Job was from the Westcountry.

Tried out a new bottle shop in town yesterday, damn it was good. Some awesome awesome beers, my favourite was Magic Rock Damn, Son! which is a Sour Damson IPA and was outstanding.

Magic Rock have gone through some rebrand stuff recently and I love the new designs

Jameson Black Barrel. I think its about £40 a bottle but tastes like a much more expensive whiskey.

I had just two bottles last night. Headache all night; hangover in morning. I really like it; just can't drink it. Shame.

Beer from a local brewer, is a single hopped American IPA using Mosaiv hops and it is damn good. Deffo top 5 hop for me is Mosaic, Citra being right at the top.

Interesting. Actually my favourite Cornish beer would be Betty Stoggs by Skinners. But it's rarer than hens teeth up in here in t'north.

I think quite a lot of craft beer companies are actually owned by megacorporations like Budweiser.

That's the one. Its a Belgian beer, nice and sweet, has a lovely flavor to it :D

Based on Brer’s recommendation I grabbed a (quite large) bottle of this in Sainsbury’s after work.

Very nice, thanks Brer :toot:

Tried Guinness Foreign Extra Stout / Nigerian Guinness last night. Really enjoyed it!

I don't know much about beer. First ever peanut butter stout I've tried. Will pop by We Brought Beer and see if they have your recommendation.

Depending how I feel, this might be drank tonight or tomorrow:

Oooooo I've not had that but i would happily buy it assuming it will be awesome because Northern Monk are an awesome brewer. Its only 7.4% so not that strong you'll be fine.

Glenfiddich 12 year old. Usually around £20-25.

Chivas Regal is decent. Similar price

Glenlivet 15 year old is nice too. Similar price.

Back on my Lidl bullshit they've been selling a variety of stuff recently.

6° North hopocrisy - had this plenty of times before at their bars in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, but nice to be able to buy in my home town! Only Belgian style I like.

Brewdog Indie - kinda generic tbh. Probably the worst brew dog I've had!

Stewart Brewing Hollyrood pale ale, better than the brewdog but still kind of nondescript.

Wishing I bought more 6° North instead of being adventurous now oh well.
