Ireland are strawberry floated. Although, we had a tough qualifying too so you never know how we'll do.

That mascot looks like CGI from POP TV.

Prefer the World Cup 98 Mascot.

Happy with that draw. I find the negativity around England a bit weird. Our team is better than it has been for a long time. We have relatively skillful players, with pace and a good balance all over the pitch. I think our biggest weakness is probably Hodgson. He's so negative. Rooney, for example, has to be dropped but Hodgson still sticks by him.

I just hope that Rooney either finds some form or gets dropped and that Jack Wheelchair gets some game time and can play.

Happy with our group. Should provide a couple of decent tests to prepare us for QF heartbreak again.

The only Home Nation side not to qualify. What a strawberry floating embarassment. Makes me wish they'd 'won' independence even more.

If England win their group then I'll have tickets for their last 16 game in Paris. Bet we end up finishing second.

Pretty happy with the draw. Reckon England vs Wales will be a draw or a narrow win for England, I hope it's the latter as I'd back Wales to do well against the other teams so it'd be cutting it fine to try and top the group on goal difference. Because of the daft nature of the tournament group B is a pretty good place to be - if we top the group we'll play one of the third place teams from groups A, C or D which unless Spain, France or Germany somehow strawberry float up majorly the toughest possible opponents would be the likes of Switzerland and Croatia. If we finish second we play the runner-up of group F so probably Iceland, maybe Portugal. (We can even scrape through in 3rd in our group... in which case we'll have the winner of either C or D to take on. So if we end up against Germany or Spain in the first knockout round we'll have no-one but ourselves to blame )

We really ought to be reaching the quarter-finals given the draw. Anything beyond that would be great, but any less than that and Hodgson needs moving on.

Rough draw for both Gaelic teams. Norn Iron face an uphill battle to get out of B IMO but they've got a better chance than the Republic who I suspect will end up bottom. "Group of Death" indeed. They were due some better luck given the group they were given last time out!

Did you see our qualifying group? :dread:
