Lordi's going to look ridiculous if they give all their points to Sweden now.

The UK song was pretty good. We should of been near the top. Maybe people just hate the UK with all the euro crisis going on or they have bad taste.
That song from Sweden was very very average and did not deserve to win imo.

Saw a rumour flying around that Greece needed a bailout part of the way through their song. Any truth to it?

Just downloaded the album :shifty: Sweden's sounds better recorded, but it still didn't deserve to win. Jedward's is actually a much better song to listen to.

How does the country that is threatening to bring the continent to its knees come any higher than last?

I really don't know why the UK bothers with the contest.

The best bit is we pay (BBC Pays) a percentage of the overall costs which is why we don't need to go through the semi finals etc. we get a guaranteed spot!

Our entrances have been piss poor for the last few years just trashy love songs with zero to remember about them.

The voting is a bit of a comical farce but if you've got a decent song/gimick you'll get points from enough people to put you up there

Time for adventure

Well I was pleased with it, Turkey did well  and while I wasn't massively keen on Sweden's song, it was a great performance, and I was pleased Russia did so well, as when the act appeared on stage I just felt a little worried for them, they were great!

That's probably one of my favourite songs of the night. Love the fancy footwork

EDIT: Also, how did this not make it to the final?:

I thought this years show was really poor, hardly any LOL worthy moments compared to previous ones (which is why everyone watches it surely?).

The old ladies

"Sweden and Russia are two of the countries that could actually afford to host the competition next year..."
