Yes. Best song, best singer (he's only 23 years old, btw), best choreography, and most spirited performance. Malta should have won by a landslide.

That choreography should become the new Moonwalk.

That song from Sweden was very very average and did not deserve to win imo.

It was utterly forgettable. The whole song felt like the intro to a much better song. I was disappointed when it didn't pick up. That and the whole world hates us now because our government are a bunch of wankers.

She's one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. Holy gooseberry fool.

I have only just caught up with Eurovision having been away for the weekend - but HOW did Norway get nil points? HOW?

I mean - the song was a blatant copy of Eric Saade's Sweden entry last year, but still it was a decent performance....and Norway are in one of the block voting bits of Europe....HOW?

Would have been great if Russia won it - but I think novelty entries are now screwed with the jury vote. I felt the Sweden entry was strong, not sure it should have run away with it though.

I do think that West and East Europe have different tastes in music (obviously). Looking at the Greece entry there is a hot woman, she sings a nice catchy up-beat pop-tune, and dances attractively. But she came in the bottom half of the rankings. Same last year with the hot bird from Spain (who could also sing.) Eastern Europe don't seem to like cheeriness. Although maybe the ever-smiling Russian grannies will change things next year.

She can quit my Euro zone any time if you know what I mean?
I'd like to see her return to the Drachma if you know what I mean?

7 points.

The song was written by the same guy who wrote both Saade's song and this year's winning entry, I think.

Fuuuuuuu totally missed this thread because I didn't think to check this folder. :x

Will have to go and see who the winner was, I saw some of the videos before it started, I quite liked the Jeds entry this year. :shifty:

While I remember, what's the actual criteria for being able to enter a song/artist in the Eurovision? Because Germany's entry was co-written by Jamie Cullum, who is obviously not German. Which seems a bit unfair, really. Why has a UK artist helped another country beat us?

Just a last thing to say that Loreen who won topped the charts in Ireland, and got to Number 3 in the UK with no airplay on Radio 1. She really did deserve to win. Hooray for common sense!
