Well this is depressing. Feel like walking into a French bar and ordering a prostitute and a bottle of whisky.

He seems like such a nice bloke, and it's especially lovely for him to share it with his sister.

Overall thoughts -

Lucie did amazing. Great choice of song, delivered well. The juries are insane to have not given her even more points. So disappointed that the televote crucified her to end up in the bottom half, but we did nothing wrong this year for once. Great singer, great song, great staging and a flawless performance both nights (including the jury final), so well done to her. It was a best finish since Blue which it did deserve, I just thought she'd get that Top 10.

Portugal is a fair winner, but shocked at quite the level of love for the song. Its certainly a better song than last years winner from Jamala, so theres at least that. I'm pretty sure I preferred it to win over Bulgaria. Its also a very good record on the CD so maybe thats helped as well.

Italy, all the hype and all of the failure. It just didnt really deliver on stage and just wasn't a catchy as people were making out.

How the strawberry float did Moldova finish third? With a jury vote as well, thats almost clinically insane. It wasn't even the best ridiculous novelty song. Romania were sort of weirdly legitimately wonderful....

Happy for Australia, a top ten position fully deserved.

Armenia was great! Very shocked that finished in 18th.

Spain fully deserved to finish last.

Zero for Austria from the televote. Savage.

Oh, Moldova were great.

We did a top five here, mine were Sweden, Moldova, Croatia, Belgium and Greece. 3 in the top 5, I'm classing that as a win.

Didnt 'get' Portugal's song at all but they seemed nice enough.

For the record, the UK's public votes came from Ireland, Australia, Malta and Spain.

That Portuguese song was awfully boring to win Eurovision.

That winning song was gooseberry fool.

I think the UK can be proud. Deserved to do better.

Glad Spain was at the very bottom. That song was awful.

Did any other commentators mention Portugal's awful win record on their shows? That song can't possibly have won on it's own merits.

Our song was performed decently enough but I can't agree with the "good staging" comments. It was literally just Lucie and some silly looking mirror while some boring fireworks played on the screens.

I didn't see Portugal's performance so I had to wait until the end to find out what the fuss was about.

I can see why it won and I thought the encore with his sister was quite touching, but my top four were Belgium, Armenia, Romania and Croatia.

The best moment for me was the Georgian points announcer who appeared to be a random stoner they'd just dragged off the street.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.
