They are all bound to vote for us as we haven't pissed any other countries off recently. :dread:

I never really thought about it this way

Hopefully, last place in Eurovision is all that Europe will punish us with

It would be interesting to see a poll before and after on peoples views about leave / remain and see if it actaully has an effect on peoples views.

I'm tempted to put money on The UK coming last. It's pretty much an inevitability, right?

Paddy Power have a "UK to receive 0 points" bet at 14/1  I think they will definitely get some points but still come last.

As I have said, despite the political situation, I think you'd be throwing your money away with that bet. We may come near the bottom, but we won't BE bottom because people seem to actually like the song in general overseas.

I think they've always watched it and are part of the television company that runs it. Makes sense they'd want to join in.

This. Completely uninspired, bland and inoffensive. It's the kind of thing you hear and then completely forget about five minutes later.

Betting on Portugal. Quite beautiful.

Expecting top 3 of Portugal, Bulgaria, Italy. Surprise package could be Switzerland.

EDIT: nvm, Switzerland misses that final :slol:

Fuming at Austria going through, if I'm honest.

Tempted to put 5p on Bulgaria winning.

Some horrendous songs on Tuesday got through, I missed tonight. Hated Portugal's song, and thought Iceland not going through was brutal, the girl was really good.

Watched this last year in a bar in Bratislava, ended up watching it with two Slovakian bears and a Russian couple who were called Igor and Natasha.

Natasha was absolutely hammered and when Ukraine won, stood in front of the TV shouting "strawberry float you Ukraine! strawberry float you Lithuania! strawberry float you Latvia", before crashing into some bar stools and collapsing on the floor crying.

Sounds like a good act for Eurovision 2018.
