Scouse pandering in Liverpool, crazy!

Why was it Scouse pandering? I thought the interval act was great. Just so happens that the songs came from Liverpool but overall it was a great representation of the UK. YNWA was very suiting to Ukraine imo.

Not bad, how he does though will depend on the staging, as they completely buggered it up last year and the live performance was a disaster.

That's a decent song, but it won't win. It only has one gear and never moves up or down from it. If it built to more of a climax it might have more of a chance.

Also, has he dropped the name Years & Years then?

Bookies have Croatia as favourites and having watched the video, frankly it is theirs to lose

Years & Years were a full on band weren't they? I think he's just gone solo.

Well,, I'm afraid that I'm not a fan of that track, really; it didn't grab me at all and, as Tomous says, it doesn't really go anywhere. Oh well, maybe others will like it - good luck to the guy.

The group had three members to begin with, but two of them left after the second album and Olly kept the name for album 3 even though it was a solo effort.

He dropped it Months & Months ago.

There's a lot of talk of acts boycotting this because of Israel's participation.

It looks like Israel may be disqualified on a technicality - they are potentially submitting a song which is too political and will get disqualified because of it.

Eurovision conspiracy theorists reckon this was agreed behind closed doors. It lets Eurovision kick Israel out for de racto rule breaking, it lets Israel save face and lets the artists who were complaining able to perform without a moral dilemma.

We'll see what happens I guess!

Lots of the favourites are joke acts, but the problem is the jury will likely decimate them. If there was ever going to be a year a really quirky act won it was last year.
