Didn't think the show was as good as last years or the year before.

This, this and more this. It really didn't feel like a memorable year in terms of performance or the quality of the songs bar a few exceptions.

She likes the culture and wants to dress that way, it isn't mocking it or the piss so yeah it is fine.

Where do you draw the line with cultural appropriation? And why is it bad anyway?

I think different cultures mixing is an amazing thing. Fusions of fashion, music, slang and food are what moves us forward, a sterile “that’s for black people”, “that’s for Asian people”, “that’s for white people” would be awful. And basically segregation.

We would all agree that a white guy with dreads is naff. But I don’t see anything wrong with it (other than naffness).

Obviously if something is mocking another culture then it’s not on. Things like blacking up or “funny” accents are not appreciating the culture, they are just mockery.
