I'm a little underwhelmed by that Gorrilaz album, the interludes are terrible and add nothing of value, there's too many collaborations (it often doesn't actually sound like Gorrilaz) and the song quality is all over the place, varying from great to unlistenable.

Maybe it just needs more time to grow on me.

Same. I've listened to it in full three or four times now and it's okay, nothing more.
