Fell out of love with Metallica a long time ago, but this is cracking.

Up til 1:15 it's the best stuff Metallica have released since The Black Album back in '91, and Hetfield's vocals were actually half-decent by his recent standards. After that it's back to the same turgid shite they've produced for the last two-and-a-half decades.

There is another track kicking about I believe, but I was drunk when I heard it. However, it did remind me of Kill 'em All...a bit. I think.

Listening to it now yeah you're right. I like it, buy not quite as good as I remember. Like Death Mag the new album will probably only have a few tracks I like

Really enjoying Opeth's new album Sorceress.

I must admit that I still miss their old Progressive Death Metal sound and vocals, but as a big fan of Progressive Rock and Metal it's another win as far as I'm concerned. Big improvement over Pale Communion and more enjoyable than Heritage.

Dug out a copy yesterday; readjusting to the wonky controls aside, I'd forgotten how utterly brilliant the soundtrack is.

"Ride the tiger, you can see his stripes but you know he's clean, oh don't you see what I mean?"

Ridiculous yet brilliant lyrics.
