Ghost are genuinely one of my favourite metal bands of recent years. It's camp and cheesy, but they write some brilliant songs, and their live shows are real theatre. Last time I saw them, there was no moshing or anything like that, everyone was just watching with rapt attention. Something really different.

I was also pretty disappointed with the latest Mastodon album. What's made it seem worse, it's that this was released on the same day...
And is miles better. Sounds like what Mastodon should sound like. Really good prog/doom metal.
