I first heard this track on Guitar Hero Metallica. Loved it ever since.

Yeah, I posted this not so long ago, but... it just feels right to play it now.
Edit: I am no musician at all... but that guitar playing from 06:00 to 10:00 must be some of the best ever!

quality tracks jawafour can't beat the solo on Freebird one of the best solos in rock history. The Old Grey Whistle test performance is epic my fav version of Freebird good to see the love for ELO

I spy some Iggy pop up there, has anyone heard this song featuring iggy? Radio 6 has been playing it a bit recently, Its unusual but I really like it, Kind of reminds me of Hurt by Cash.

I just listened to (the live gig version on my original post) again... that section from approx 06:00 to 10:00 is just strawberry-floatin' fantastic. I just can't ge bored of hearing it - it's legendary.

yep one of the great rock solos ever is in my top 3 another good version of Freebird is from Knebworth 75

I've been learning Johnny Marr's guitar work on various songs from this band. He's strawberry floating stellar.
