Yeah Dream no More, Atlas, Rise, Now That We're Dead are incredible tracks. Not blown away by disc 2 yet, but I'm sure they'll grow on me.

Been on a bit of a Feeder kick lately, wonderful band. Are their last two albums any good?

Catching up on albums as I haven't followed music at all this year. This and the final Tribe Called Quest album are both ridiculously good.

Like a Storm's latest album.

Saw them support Gojira, Volbeat and Alter Bridge last Sunday and thought they were alright, never having heard them before.
Not as good as Volbeat obviously but worth £6 to buy the CD off Amazon

Better live Metallica

I haven't listened to Binge & Purge in ages, might give it a proper run through tomorrow.

Yeah, that's a great show, too. I think when I got the Live gooseberry fool box set, though, I listened to more of the '91 show, so that's always the one I think of.

Creeping Death is such a tune.

New Ryan Adams single in preparation for his next album, Prisoners, out in February.

Seem's he's carried on the 80s rock inspiration from his last album, although the guitars have a fuller sound here. Quite like the underlying organ that drives the song but can't help but feel it's missing something...

Seattle '89 was a show. The upper echelons of any live performance ever, period.

Listening to the new Metallica album now for the first time. It's alright but a bit uninspiring.

The Live gooseberry fool box set is outstanding. Top tier live performances. I don't know if they still do it but you used to be able to download an MP3 of just about any live performance they'd done. I had the Wembley Sick of the Studio '07 tour one, it was very well done.

Bit of backstory, my favourite band ever are Kent and I just got back from seeing their final ever show in Stockholm. As you can imagine, it was a pretty emotional affair, lots of tears and sad Swedish people. Anyway, got back home to find they'd posted this, the video for Den Sista Sången (The Last Song).

Fuuuuuuuck. I managed to get to the bit with the old guy being consoled before I was in bits.
