I did end up just reading up on Wikipedia in the end.

Glad I did as what you got was nowhere near worth the mind numbing dullness of the journey.

I liked the ending, I thought it was a suitable payoff to the mystery. Reminded me a lot of the Quatermass Experiment

Yeah, there is something like 3 different car models, all looking like 80s Fords. The computers all look like Vic-20s.

Commodore 64's! I had one and my heart leapt when I saw one in game

And done..... and plat'd. Loved it. Very different from anything else I've ever played. Intriguing concept. Well implemented. Shame I couldn't walk a bit faster or, you know, jog a bit to speed bits up. 9/10

There is a run button - l2 or r2, but you speed up gradually and have to do so every time you stop moving; a terrible design feature.

Yeah I used R2 all the time. Could still do with a jog button option or sommat

I just don't get that opinion at all. wonderful storytelling with a great setting and real fleshed out world but you have to interact and experience that world in the worst possible way imagined.

It's one of the more beautiful games in my opinion. Each time it goes dark with just the glinting gold and yellows still showing, combined with the choral music, was really impactful for me. The first time it happened I got genuine goosebumps.
