DLC that is advertised in magazines, promoted in, is highly reviewed and has the highest DLC price tag?
Of course this will be LIVE's biggest success!

Considering I love GTA, I was unsure about buying it. But just getting back into the same streets of Liberty City with a different character & story felt really good. It actually made the world of Liberty City seem even more alive and makes you wonder how many more stories are out there (well 1 more for the 360). Good stuff.

Just finished the story. Great DLC & value for money. It terms of cut scenes characterisation, and voice acting I think Rockstar are the best in the business.

This is the sort of standard of DLC that I want from developers none of this 1 1/2 hrs ****.

Managed to get all the achievements. Smacking 69 riders off their bikes was great fun :D

I guess Michael O'Leary doesn't view GTA as parody.

After a mixed start I'm finally back into the GTA groove and enjoying it thoroughly, I loved the first cutscene when you meet Stubbs  and the quests seem to have picked up in quality now too.

So far so good. :)

Finished this today. It says a lot when, after two games set in Liberty City, I’m still nowhere near being bored of the world Rockstar have created. They can just keep adding to it.

My favourite game this gen by a quite frankly ridiculous margin. The Lost & Damned has to have set a new benchmark for DLC, not to mention acting, characterisation & story telling. The last level was fantastic, really. “Here’s a whole load of weapons; do whatever the hell you want”. Even the credits were nicely done. Rod Stewart FTW!

Has anyone else tried looking at the dashboard of the new "Rhapsody" car with the sniper rifle?

A photo of Wayne and Garth from Wayne's World sellotaped to the dash. The car is based on the car in the famous Bohemian Rhapsody scene. Basically the entire vehicle is a Wayne's World reference.

I'm now watching Wayne's World off the back of that.

Patcher: The Lost and Damned has sold one million so fa

Rockstar may not have released download numbers for The Lost and Damned yet, but that hasn’t stopped Michael Patcher from throwing around a “1 million” figure.

The analyst has estimated that Rockstar’s DLC has sold into seven digits so far, and will reach 2 million by the end of the year.

While he was peeking into his crystal ball, he also predicted that the second GTA IV episode is “likely” to arrive towards the end of Rockstar’s October 31 fiscal year.

Even more, he said today that a new console title in the GTA series will arrive by the end of 2010, and is likely to generate 50 percent more profits than previous installments, due to the growth in general console installed base.

“We don’t think it is reasonable to estimate that sales of GTA will double the prior version, but we think that a 25 – 30 per cent penetration is reasonable, suggesting 15 – 18 million units sold,” said Pachter.

“That means that Take-Two’s profits from the next iteration should be approximately 50 percent greater than from the last version.”

He reached this conclusion because in 2010 consoles are expected to be in 60 million homes in the US and Europe, with 30 percent of those owners likely to pick up a new GTA game.

We have put a call into Rockstar for comment.

I was browsing throught the LCPD database and i was totally shocked to find that Ray Boccino's younger than Johnny and only 2 years older than Niko. Looking at him i thought he'd be in his late 30's, early 40's.

Granted we don't much about this Luis guy but i'd still prefer a Mcreary story for the next episode. The perfect cover's there for Gerry to escape from jail.

I wouldn't mind seeing more of Faustin to be honest. By far one of the more interesting characters in the game in my opinion.

Didn't you kill Faustin?

Finished this the other week, I enjoyed it for the most part and think it was just about worth it's price tag. There's not a whole lot do after you finish the main story which is what disappointed me most about it but what story there is is very good.

Yeah but look at Salvatore Leone, he gets killed off early in GTA 3 but he still holds the record for the character that gives the player the most missions and jobs, so you never know. He's far better than the boring mafia characters we see towards the end of Niko's story.

I hadn't seen them when I went back to try and finish everything, Nor I couldn't work out where the new weapons would be if anywhere? not at the gun shop or at Jacobs?
